1969. Ted (Zach Efron) is a very handsome, smart, glamorous and affectionate guy. Liz Kloepfer (Lily Collins), a mother who is sure to raise her children, gives up her charm. For her, Ted is the man of her dreams, so she leaves aside all precautions, and falls in love with this young man. The two seem to be the ideal couple with a life like in the movies, until one day when, as if from nowhere, everything collapses, and their perfect life is done. Ted is arrested and convicted of a series of increasingly violent crimes. Liz’s worries are rapidly turning into paranoia, for as the evidence against him gathers, he is forced to admit that this man with whom he has recently shared his life might be, in fact, a psychopathic killer. This is the story of Ted Bundy, one of the most notorious serial killers of all time, seen through the eyes of a woman who loved and believed in him.
